Why 1.5 Degrees?

We have approximately ten years before we start experiencing some of the more severe global effects of climate change.

Global temperatures are likely to reach 1.5 degrees between 2030 and 2052 – quite literally around the corner.
The recent The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report suggests that if nothing is done to make drastic reductions in greenhouse gasses immediately, the earth will tip into irreversible damages, with cataclysmic events occurring within this century.
